Flowers from my garden

I'm not good at rearing bougainvillea or bunga kertas but suddenly all of them decide to bloom. Alhamdulillah.

Local breed. Just one slice of petals.

Another bougainvillea plant.

Not sure the name. Very generous in producing flowers.

Imported breed. A few layers of petals.

The many faces of Aiman

At two years old, Aiman is very cute. Here, displaying his rabbit set of teeth. A sincere smile that reaches the eyes.

At Port Dickson when he was three years old.

Fishing trip to Kuantan

Loading things into the fishing boat. Aiman posing at the jetty.

Mangrove along the river. Mangrove is a good armour against tides of tsunami. Preserve them.

My husband with Aiman beside the Pahang river after a night at the sea. Seen here people fishing along the longest river in Peninsular Malaysia.

The price catch of the day - a haruan tasik fish. Its a great compensation after losing three big squids on the verge of pulling them into deck. Not to mention another three sea snakes that got themselves tangled into my husband's fishing rod.

Sun set in Kuantan.

My vegetable garden

Young shoots getting ready to substitute old plants.
My kacang panjang or long beans protruding from behind the lush foliage.
Aiman with the a day's toil. Long beans and bitter gourd or peria katak.
Young bitter gourd. Sometimes it is difficult to notice it since the color is the same as the leaves.
This is what happen if I fail to notice it earlier - it turns yellow. After sometimes it will crack and expose its seeds which will eventually fall down to earth and begin a new life cycle. Allah is great!
Aiman in front of my vegetable plot. Among the plants is a grape plant. Just trying my luck.

Trip to Malacca (9 and 10 June 09)

The kids strolling the beach of Tanjung Bidara, Malacca. Went to Malacca for a holiday and take the opportunity to celebrate three birthdays, Abang Long 10th June, Aiman 30 June and Abang Ngah 16 July. The kids enjoy the pool and the beautiful beach. They even caught a baby jelly fish and confined it in a plastic glass. After showing to everyone, it was released back to the water. Heard someone got sting by a jelly fish that day. Skin turned red.
