Port Dickson

My eldest son. Look at the picnickers behind. Truly a place for family gathering.

A stall selling everything you need at the beach. From mat to swimming gear.

The aliens that invade our cloth. Turns out it was seeds of a scrub. A great way to spread offspring to wider areas.

A nearby holiday resort.

Playing kite at the beach. A wonderful experience for little Aiman.

Parents entertaining kids at the beach. Boats for hire.

Aquatic life in my garden

Aquarium for small fish. With some water plants to boost oxygen supply.

Close up picture. Fish at the side.

Arowana with some mates to keep company.

Arowana swimming gracefully. Watching it swim is a source of relaxation for my husband, coming home from work.

The salt water aquarium. The coral is not growing well. Takes time.

Swimming so fast it is difficult to capture on camera.

Aquarium for river fish outside the house. After parking his motorbike at the side, my husband usually sit down in front watching the fish swim or watching the colorful flowers in our garden.

Close up picture. Cute isn't it? And quite plum too. Unlike human, for fish the fatter the better.
Can you see the frog? My self appointed pet. Its occasional voice calling for rain makes my house feel remotely in the village.

Interlude. Aiman with the longest bean in my garden.

Eid Mubarak celebration

Seeking forgiveness from each other early in the morning before going to the mosque to pray.

At my grand mother's house. Great grand mother's house of my kids.

Going from house to house to visit and seeking forgiveness. Time to meet close and distance relatives.

Lotus blooming again

My classic lotus flower.

Opening up early in the morning.

At its best stage. Fully bloom.

Then the petals start to fall off.

Until only the seeds left behind.

Our rabbit pet

Our pet corner. A bungalow lot for the rabbits and a penthouse for the serama chicken.

Introducing Boy, the male rabbit. Cute isn't it?

This is Celak, named after its black colored eye. By the way, she's a female.

Nothing more exciting than to venture out of cage in the morning and evening. Problem is Boy loves to eat my flower plants.

Elegance and photogenic.

When rabbit stand out, they look a bit like bear.

Sniffing for appertizing grass.
Playing hard to catch.

Stretching out for Turi leaves.

Herbs in my garden

This is daun turi. Can be cooked with coconut milk.

Daun kelsum. It has a nice, peculiar smell.
Malaysian use it as a flavor in cooking.

A combination of celery, daun kelsum and cilli.
In case you can't see it, the cilli leaf is at the right top.

Pandan leaves.
Another local flavorer.

Of course the famous curry leaves.
A must to cook curry.

Kangkong leaves. Nice to cook with cilli and belacan. Also serve as the food of our rabbit. Wait for future entry to see my cute rabbits.

Cilli plant. This is cili padi, the fruit is small but taste as hot as an inferno!

Celery for my soup.

Pegaga. Believed to make us look younger.

Colours of leaves in my garden

I just love green leaves.

Don't you?

But there are leaves that are not green. Variation of red and yellow for instance.

Or variation of green and white. Nice streak of colors isn't it?

Or a bit of pink in the middle. Lovely!

Pale green.

Or dark green.

Hanging leaves.

Hanging young leaves.

Green, white and pink against brown wall.

Or against brown and light wall.

Not to forget yellow leaf. A reminder that we are moving in the same direction!
