Herbs in my garden

This is daun turi. Can be cooked with coconut milk.

Daun kelsum. It has a nice, peculiar smell.
Malaysian use it as a flavor in cooking.

A combination of celery, daun kelsum and cilli.
In case you can't see it, the cilli leaf is at the right top.

Pandan leaves.
Another local flavorer.

Of course the famous curry leaves.
A must to cook curry.

Kangkong leaves. Nice to cook with cilli and belacan. Also serve as the food of our rabbit. Wait for future entry to see my cute rabbits.

Cilli plant. This is cili padi, the fruit is small but taste as hot as an inferno!

Celery for my soup.

Pegaga. Believed to make us look younger.

Colours of leaves in my garden

I just love green leaves.

Don't you?

But there are leaves that are not green. Variation of red and yellow for instance.

Or variation of green and white. Nice streak of colors isn't it?

Or a bit of pink in the middle. Lovely!

Pale green.

Or dark green.

Hanging leaves.

Hanging young leaves.

Green, white and pink against brown wall.

Or against brown and light wall.

Not to forget yellow leaf. A reminder that we are moving in the same direction!

Water

My kids at Templer Park in Rawang.

My kids at Port Dickson.

My eldest son. Meditating?

Port Dickson beach.

My son's friends.

Water has always been a source of serenity. My family just love outdoor activities. Remembering happy outdoor times. Got to stay at home now due to the H1N1 epidemic. May things get well soon.

My lobster pet

My lobster pet in our sea water aquarium.

Seems like they are fighting.

Well, not really. So, what's going on actually?

It is changing skin. Praise be to Allah, even the tentacle change skin. You can see the hole it comes out from. Amazing isn't it? Allah is great!

Stages of blooming flowers.

The bud of my lotus plant.

Lotus flower fully bloom.

The promise of a beautiful flower.

At this stage, she is already mesmerizing.

A speck of yellow in the middle.

My rose bud.

The picture speaks a thousand words already.
